The following is a helpful step by step guide to installing your RMU or kiosk cover from Equip. All covers are custom made- so if you have any trouble with installation give us a call and we will be happy to give you instructions specific to your cover!

Having trouble reaching the top of your RMU to attach the cables? Cover Installation Instructions:

1) Remove cover from its carrying tote. (This tote is attached to the cover, so you won’t have to worry about losing it.)

2) Locate the zipper assembly. Find the end of the zipper assembly with the label “TOP” sewn onto it. The corner marked “TOP” is your starting point. This corner should be at the top of the RMU, not at the bottom/floor level.

3) From the corner marked “TOP”, start to wrap the cover around your RMU, hanging it by its coated metal cable along the RMU hooks. (There are openings along the cable’s channel where the cable is exposed. These are the points where you hang the cable from the metal RMU hooks.) 

4) Continue to wrap the cover all the way around the top of the RMU until you get back to your starting point, marked “TOP”. This is the point where your zipper should zip from, and where you will use a padlock to lock the two cable loops together.

5) Make sure the bottom of the cover isn’t caught up on any shelves.

6) Attach the zipper at the point marked “TOP”, zipping all the way until it reaches the “BOTTOM.” Take both coated metal cable loops (at the top), and padlock them together.

7) Pull the bottom cables tight and lock them together with the loop on the zipper at the “BOTTOM” cable loops.

At this point your kiosk cover should be safe and secure for the evening!
