Retail security covers are used to protect retail units at night and during non-business hours. Because there are many different styles of retail units, there are many different types of retail security covers. Equip, Inc. can manufacture retail security covers in the size and shape you need to protect your retail unit.
Retail security covers are typically manufactured for kiosks, RMUs, and displays. The more popular types of security covers for kiosks and RMUs are:
This style of security cover wraps around your retail unit, with an open top, and attaches to the unit with security cables located in the top and bottom seams of the cover. The security cables lock to the unit’s eyelet hooks, and the ends of the cables lock together with the heavy duty zipper loop in one corner.
An over the top style cover is typically a rectangular or square shaped cover that encloses the top and sides of the retail display. These covers have a security cable in the bottom seam, and a lockable zipper in one corner.
A "donut" cover is very similar to an over the top cover, but is usually used for larger displays and counter units. These covers will enclose the tops and sides of counters, but leave the space in the middle of the retail area open.
Another type of retail security cover is the redevelopment cover. This cover is designed to protect your retail unit during the redevelopment stages at the mall where your unit is located. During redevelopment, your unit may become covered with dust and other debris. A redevelopment cover will protect the top of your unit from debris and dust. Redevelopment covers also protect units and carts while in storage, and are very affordable since they use less fabric.
Nightsheets and security curtains are panel covers that use cables or grommets along the sides of the panel to secure. The covers attach to rods or eyelet hooks and slide around the display for quick, easy security.
